Welcu is an app that businesses can use to effectively and easily organize parties, meetings or events. The application makes it easy to manage guest lists send gorgeous-looking electronic invites that include event tickets, and track RSVP's to the event. Recipients of the invites can check into the event by just bringing their Smartphone that has a QR code that can be scanned, thus eliminating the need for printouts. Also companies can view reports and analyze their events' attendances and other statistics. Welcu offers a dashboard for the companies to see the latest people who have confirmed their attendance, orders, track their contacts and the distribution of invites, and design the invites and reporting. Overall, this is an app that companies can use to organize and manage corporate events and maintain a professional appearance to their invite recipients.

Welcu has been used to manage corporate events by Sony Ericsson, Xerox and Google. The site has been featured on CNN Chile, The Next Web, Tech Crunch and Dow Jones' VentureWire. Welcu is based out of the tech hub Palo Alto. The app was founded by Nic Orellana (founder of Orelworks) and Sebastian Gamboa. Investors include TomorrowVentures and 500Startups. To date they have helped over 500 companies manage their invites and events. Welcu was founded in 2010.

To register for Welcu, users will need to provide their company name, their name, email address and password. From there they will be welcomed to the app and they can explore the Welcu services for 30 days for free or they can sign up for a plan.

Welcu offers its services for 30 days for free. Pricing ranges from $39- $300 and plans are made public to users after their 30 day trial.

Welcu is ideal for event coordinators at corporations. It can make corporate event planning and management a much easier task and the ability to have electronic invites and admission tickets helps companies maintain an advanced image.
